My grandmother lived at Heartwood Homes for about 4 years. Not only did she receive great care, excellent food but she was part of a “home” ~ the caregivers talked to her with dignity & courtesy. She enjoyed the activities and other residents as well as being able to leave with family members from time to time. Even towards the end of her life, she was always treated with the best of care & we were consulted as well as updated on her health.
Our family would highly recommend not only this facility but also appreciated the care, kindness & compassion ~ the owners, Jason & Lynn Schmitz had for her ~ they went above & beyond for grandma. I felt like they thought of her as their own family member. Hands down…I would HIGHLY recommend to another family or someone looking for a caregiving career.
