We recognize that people tend to follow their own lifelong natural rhythms for sleeping and eating, which is why our kitchen is always open. In addition to our scheduled meal and snack time options, our flexible dining provides seniors with more choices and personal control over their daily routines by allowing them to dine whenever they please. Additionally, we offer a variety of delicious options to accommodate each resident’s personal preferences and nutritional needs.
To put it simply – our residents eat what they want, when they want it, where they want it.
Activities Program
Heartwood’s Activity Stimulation Program is inspired by the unique sensory needs of Memory Care residents, providing regular opportunities for your loved one to get moving, get social, and engage in simple tasks that stimulate the mind and elevate mood. Optimizing safety
Every aspect of Heartwood was designed with memory care in mind. Our facilities provide a secure environment, featuring electronically-monitored exits to help those who may wander. Our safety features continue outside, permitting our residents to enjoy the gaited patio and walking paths as they admire our beautiful garden. Our residential model with centrally located common areas permits residents to relax and feel at home, while allowing staff to provide accessible care and supervision. Not to mention, thanks to a higher staff to resident ratio compared to most Assisted Living communities, residents enjoy individualized attention and care every day at Heartwood.
