For the past three years, my father Chester, was a resident of Heartwood Homes. The decision to place my dad was difficult but we soon realized that our choice of Heartwood Homes was the very best. For three years the staff loved and cared for my dad and in doing so became part of our family. I want to thank and praise Heartwood Homes and the caregivers for making my dads transition/death a time of love, respect, kindness, dignity and understanding. During his final days the Heartwood team provided excellent care of not only my dad but our entire family. The staff cried with us, hugged with us and ensured that all of our family needs were met. My dad and our family were surrounded 24/7 with love and care. For those of you in the difficult process of finding placement for someone you love, let me assure you that Heartwood Homes is the right choice.
